Ok, It’s 12 AM now and I should be sleeping on my bed and hugging my pillow. However, because I love my readers and I don’t want to disappoint all of you. It’s time to write something stupid again on this goblog.
Back to our Primary School time, can you remember how much is the population of Indonesia according to our teachers and also the books? more than 200 millions! Also, our the King of junk-that-uneducated-people-love-Dangdut, Hj. Rhoma Irama included this number to one of his crap (baca:song) lyric.
Do you really think that this country has 200 millions in population? I don’t know about you, but I don’t think it is. Why? Ask your parent or your colleagues how many KTP they have per person? I bet half of them will say that they have more than one ID.
In calculation. Let say, one person could have 2 IDs and half of Indonesian population owned more than one ID. The population number based on this raw calculation is 100 millions. Don’t forget, it is possible one person has 4 IDs! So the number will decrease a little bit.
On the other hand, do you think that every citizen own an ID? No, they don’t! Those who live under the bridge, slump area or inside the forest do not have an ID.
Then, as conclusion, if you ask me the number of Indonesian population, I would answer: ‘I don’t know and I don’t care…’ or ‘As much as water in the sea or stars in the sky or stupidity in your useless question.’

Hmm, gue ga tau deh beritanya udah pernah ada apa belom… tapi, skrg untuk buat KTP dan SIM mulai pake sistem yg sudah terkomputerisasi. Br di bbrp kota besar sih setau gue. Meaning , lambat laun , (meskipun hampir ga mungkin) orang-orang cuman punya KTP 1 doang.
Paling juga kalo misalnya udah bener2 digalakkan, dan muncul statistik yang mengatakan, ternyata penduduk Indonesia ga sampe segitu.. paling muncul anggapan/penerawangan/dugaan bahwa sedang ada kekuatan mistis yg sedang menghantui penduduk Indonesia, sehingga bbrp org bisa tiba2 lenyap begitu aja
Sensus itu kan bukan berdasarkan jumlah KTP. Tapi dilakukan setiap 10 tahun sekali. Sensus terakhir tahun 2004. So, next census will be in 2014. It’s probably gonna be 250mil people >.
